A little over two years ago Wargaming.net from Belarus revolutionized the Action MMO genre with World of Tanks. World of Warplanes, the second title in the franchise, has been released in November and is once again setting high standards. Originally released in 2010 Final Fantasy XIV received mostly negative feedback. This is why Square Enix assigned a new team, Development Division 3, with the development of an entirely new title that would stand up to the players’ expectations. At last, their efforts seem to have paid off. Dubbed Final Fantasy XIV - A Real Reborn the new game is a traditional but highly polished MMORPG that fixes the mistakes of the original release.  Read more »

Dragon's Prophet has been voted our first MMO of the Month. The game takes an interesting approach on the fantasy setting by letting you tame and ride your own dragons. With hundreds of different dragons available you get hooked easily on trying to catch them all. Honestly speaking, Dragon's Prophet feels unfinished in parts and may therefore frustrate beginners. Most MMORPGs are limited in content. After every mission is completed and all demons are killed players face what's called the end game. Some developers are more creative than others but too often this means trying to find rare items in the same sieges or gigantic raids or to help your guild to gain control of certain territories while you wait for the next content update. It's not uncommon that the end game makes the difference between a successful MMORPG and one that fails. Because if players are getting bored sooner or later they they are going to look for something else.  Read more »
